#18 All Life is a Miracle
You are a miracle, a living, breathing unique fingerprint of GOD.
The world tells you how magical you are and then demands you conform to meet the expectations of whoever leads. You are not meant for conformity.
Do you realize that those making the rules are those afraid of true freedom? Those grabbing the reins and boxing in structures for safety are really just aching from fear of losing control. Fear of being found lacking. Fear of mystery.
Many try to name and label to reduce their fears. If they can get you into a box and stamp a title, then they can be done with the questions and unknowns. Do you recognize their terror?
This is my world, my land, my animals. These are the people who work for me and these are the ones I call family. I wake up knowing what waits for me each day and I move through the day with confidence, knocking items off my lists successfully, navigating leadership, discipline and the creation of structure so that those underneath me know what I expect and how to keep everything running smoothly. Do not try and interrupt, innovate or even inquire what changes might be beneficial to you and yours. This is mine and I will have it done the ways it has always been done. This gives me a sense of security and predictability that keep me feeling in control and safe.
They cannot define you. You are UNDEFINABLE.
And it frightens them.
You do not belong behind any definitions. We accept names and titles, we earn degrees and letters behind our names. We accept roles, we play parts, we sing songs in the style of our cultures, our surroundings and our blood. But none of it defines who you are.
Who are you?
You are the breath of GOD animating earth material.
You are VAPOR drifting through emotions and sensations and perceptions.
You are AWARENESS, the observer of all present moments.
You are outside of TIME. You are inside of TIME. You are TIMELESSNESS.
Can you understand why men fear you? Why they work so hard to label you and keep you straight-jacketed to their power and authority?
It is easier for us to believe we are sinners in need of rule books. It is a false sense of control to believe if one follows rules, they will be rewarded with heaven and if they refuse, punished with fiery hell. This soothes ego’s desire for justice. Luckily, ego is not ultimately in charge of justice.
Love is.
Every cell in towering pine, in cawing crow, in babies giggle and grief of the broken is brought to life by LOVE. Love and love alone has the authority to name who we are.
