Welcome to the Journey

I am so glad you’re here.

I have so much to share with you. My name is Jenny L. Young and this is the home of my personal journey of non-stop seeking. I became a psychotherapist in order to find the secrets to healing I so desperately wanted for myself. I have been in lifelong pursuit of the sacred and of how the reality of the divine can heal all suffering.

This journey of healing Complex-PTSD and the long term effects of being undiagnosed with autism has been wild and challenging, but also gratifying to learn to love the ugliest parts of myself and the prettiest parts equally.

I want to share all I have discovered and am still discovering with you.

I would be so happy to connect with you. Send me a hello on the contact page or sign up for my monthly newsletter.

Collage is one fabulous modality that I utilize in processing and transforming trauma. I find images speak so clearly and express both conscious thoughts and those hidden aspects of the unconscious. The Tarot is another realm of symbols that opens up the unconscious’ wealth of wisdom. The major arcana in Tarot walk us through a story of meeting ourselves and our powers in this world of creation. Both collage and Tarot are sources of moving out of predictability and order and into the mystery of emotional connection and spiritual vision.

Symbology

A collage combining photographs of nature, mountains, waterfalls, and floral arrangements with illustrations of women performing yoga and a bear surrounded by flowers. Includes a sign that says 'I CAN FINALLY ENJOY THE MOMENT.'

“I Can Finally Enjoy The Moment”

Clarity Cards use collage and heart-centered writing as guideposts along this journey of being human.
